Contemplation
Contemplation is “luminous seeing.” Its primary language is subtle, connected silence – not the monastic kind – but a conscious, compassionate approach that sets the tone for unfolding and engaging the world with kindness, generosity, and patience.
Contemplation has a close association with ancient traditions and modern wisdom paths. It is unlike meditation, prayer, metaphysical speculation, or other methods of focused concentration.
Contemplative practices are intended to cultivate surrender to a deeper self, especially when attachment to external circumstances is tempting. Here are a few examples that you can use right away. Don’t underestimate the power of these core-practices.

Dear Pepper, without your help I doubt I would still be here writing this. Your wisdom helped restore my inner being and outer life. Please accept this small token and wish for others to benefit as I have.”
